How to Optimize the Surface Polishing Process of HPGR Hard Alloy Stud?

In order to strengthen the bonding strength of the high pressure roller press Cemented Carbide Button and the roller sleeve steel body, we can start from two aspects. On the one hand, to improve the precision of matching between the Hard Alloy Stud and the Pin Stud hole of the roller sleeve steel body of the roller press, to keep the Carbide Pin from falling off under the working condition of the roller press. On the other hand, improve the surface finish of the Hpgr Hard Alloy Pins, maintain the assembly precision, and facilitate the repair and replacement of the cemented carbide studs of the roller press after a period of time of use of the roller press. The process of improving the surface finish of the tungsten carbide studs is as follows:

1.     Accord to that excircle of the hard alloy stud, grinding wheel with different particle sizes are selected to grind the hard alloy stud on a coreless grinder, the machine allowance should not be too large each time, the grinding allowance is gradually reduced, and the hard metal stud is finely ground to the product size.

2.     Select abrasive grains with fine grain size and polish them in the grinding equipment.

3.     Accord to that diameter and height of the hard alloy stud, the cobalt content of the hard alloy and the loading weight of the product, the rotate speed of the polishing equipment is calculated and adjusted, and the speed is uniform to prevent collision.

4.     Extend the grinding and polishing time, eliminate the sintering stress of carbide studs, and extend the service life of carbide studs.
